Nabil Ranné and students perform Sections 1-2 of Yilu, the first form.

Public Classes (Downtown)

We would love to have you join our classes!

Classes are open to all levels and physical abilities. The atmosphere is casual: we’re here to learn, have fun, and respect each other! Simply bring comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing, and hydration. This is a public space.

It is a good idea to show up 10 minutes early to settle in. Classes begin with Qigong to help relax and loosen the body, followed by some basic foundational exercises. The rest of the class is spent working on movements from the form.

For the best results and the most enjoyment, we encourage you to practice in your free time!

We are currently teaching the first section of the first form, called Gong Fu Jia Yilu, or just Yilu for short. This form is popularly known as Xin Jia Yilu. Contrary to popular belief, it is suitable for all experience levels. It is taught in a clear, step-by-step manner, and often practiced slowly to develop a good structural foundation - or, just to relax deeply!

Please contact us if you have any questions.
